Trivia[]
- Martin mistakenly states May 7th as Frasier's birthday. May 7th is the birth date of co-star Peri Gilpin's twins.
- At one point in this episode, Frasier enters his ex-girlfriend's answering machine and listens to his own messages, and then accidentally deletes all of them. A very similar gag had been used in the TV series Friends more than a year before, in the episode 'The One Where No One's Ready' (season 3, episode 2), when Monica calls her ex-boyfriend Richard's answering machine, deletes all his messages and ends up recording a new (and surreal) welcome message for him.
ALLUSIONS
- The title references Desperately Seeking Susan, the 1985 Rosanna Arquette film that was Madonna's first big role.
ERRORS
- Frasier says his birthday is in March, yet in Are You Being Served? the entry in Hester's old diary for April 14th says that she is expecting her first child "soon".
- Eddie's birth date was given as May 7 in this episode, but was changed to May 15 in the series finale.
