"The Adventures of Bad Boy and Dirty Girl" is the 7th episode of Season 3 on NBC series Frasier. It is the conclusion of a two-part story with "Sleeping with the Enemy".
Synopsis
LOVE IS ON THE AIR – Questioning the haste of their romance, Frasier and Kate (guest star Mercedes Ruehl) find the only time they can air their ambivalent feelings in private is during breaks in a special late-night broadcast Frasier is conducting solo. Unfortunately, their passion rises again and the sounds of the tryst accidentally becomes grist for the airwaves, leaving the audience guessing the identity of "Bad Boy" Dr. Crane's special in-studio "Dirty Girl".
Plot
Frasier agrees to fill in for Floyd, the happy chef on KACL. That night, he lets Roz leave early, but then he and Kate getting into a compromising position, and have a sexual escapade which they unwittingly broadcast over the air. However, they use nicknames, and only Frasier's voice is recognized. When the news gets out, Frasier is briefly suspended by an apologetic Kate from the radio station. Kate comes to Frasier's house to explain that the owners had wanted him fired. However, he and Kate ride down on the service elevator, surrounded by stimulants, and again have a fiery sexual confrontation when the power goes out.

- Given the Anglophilia often on display in the series, it is at least possible that Floyd is a tip of the hat to BBC food presenter and eccentric chef Keith Floyd, who drank and sauteed his way around Europe and the world with a camera crew in tow in the 1980s.
